  • Led by Artwise Curators in partnership with WWF, Art For Your World works with the art world to help tackle the climate and nature crisis. It supports five key WWF projects and areas of work including protecting habitats and species. This year’s focus, in collaboration with Sotheby's, is on ocean health with our next project, Art For Your Oceans.

Covering 70% of the Earth’s surface, the oceans provide over half of the global oxygen supply, absorb over a quarter of the carbon dioxide we produce, and regulate the climate. In fact, their capacity to buffer excess heat is so significant that without them, the planet would be 35°C hotter.

Despite the vastness of the oceans, human activity is devastating ocean ecosystems. It is WWF’s mission to give our oceans a healthier future. More information on Art For Your Oceans and how to get involved will be coming soon.

  • "At WWF, we know that the art world is increasingly conscious of the role it can play in saving the environment, whether by reducing carbon emissions or exploring environmental issues through art. We believe that now is the time to join forces, in order to ensure that both the art world and the art-loving public can respond to the urgency of the climate crisis."
